Vintage Festival in Castiglion Fiorentino: Ferragosto in 1950s Style

From 13 to 16 August 2026, Castiglion Fiorentino will host the Vintage Festival, one of the liveliest summer events in the Valdichiana. For four days, the historic centre of the town turns into a large open-air stage, with live music, dancing, markets, classic cars and vintage motorcycles.

The atmosphere recalls the iconic 1950s and 1960s: polka-dot dresses, hair pomade, vinyl records, rock’n’roll, jazz and rhythm and blues. Walking through the streets of the town, visitors can enjoy a cheerful and scenic atmosphere, almost like an American movie set, with references to Grease, Happy Days and the summer parties of the past.

In the heart of the town, the Vintage Market will also be set up, where visitors can browse clothes, accessories, books, records, toys and vintage objects. The squares will become meeting points for concerts, DJ sets and dance performances.

The event is suitable for couples, families and groups of friends: a different, light-hearted and engaging evening, perfect for those staying in the area during the Ferragosto period.
