The Sound of Peace Comes to Cortona

From June 27 to July 5, 2026, Cortona will host the Festival of Sacred Music, one of the most important cultural and spiritual events of the year.

The 2026 edition, promoted by Cortona Cristiana, will be dedicated to the theme “Sister Peace” and will feature a programme of concerts and celebrations connected to religious music for peace in the world.

During the festival, visitors will be able to attend choral concerts, organ music, Gregorian chants and chamber orchestra performances. The events will take place in some of Cortona’s most prestigious churches, including the Church of San Domenico, as well as in especially evocative places such as the Hermitage of Le Celle.
